Explanation of user roles

In ZekerArbo Online we work with different roles. It is important to choose the right role for yourself and your colleagues. That way you determine who may view which data and who may adjust settings.

A strict distinction is made between situations without a system integration (where you report absences manually) and with an integration to your own HR or absence system.

Without system integration (Manual entry)

Use these roles if you enter absence reports manually in ZekerArbo Online. These roles cannot be used if an automatic integration with your HR system is active.

  • 1 ER - No system integration ER - Organization-level view - ZekerArbo

    • This is the role for the main administrator.

    • You have access to all employees of the company and determine the rights of all other HR staff.

    • Note: Be careful when assigning this role; it gives you access to all privacy-sensitive data of the entire organization.

  • 2 MN - No system integration ER - View own department - ZekerArbo

    • This is the role for most managers and HR staff.

    • You only have access to employees in your own department.

    • The administrator (role 1) must assign the appropriate rights to your account for this. You cannot change colleagues' rights yourself.

    • This is the management role for organizations with a system integration.

    • You have full access to the entire organization and manage colleagues' rights.

    • Note: This role may only be assigned if absences are automatically forwarded from your system.

  • 4 MN - Absence reporting via system integration ER - View own department - ZekerArbo

    • The role for managers and HR staff within an organization with a system integration.

    • You only see the employees of the departments for which the administrator has given you access. You do not manage others' rights yourself.
