Install and set up the Authenticator app on Android

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your phone.
  2. Tap the search bar at the top and type Authenticator.
  3. Tap the magnifying glass (search) and select the Microsoft Authenticator app.
    • Note: Choose the app from Microsoft.
  4. Tap Install.
    • Does it say 'Open'? Then you already have the app and can launch it directly.
  5. Open the app and click Accept to agree to the privacy terms.
  6. Choose the Scan a QR code option.
    • Sometimes you first need to give the app permission to use your camera. Then click 'Allow'.
  7. Use your phone to scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen in Mijn ZekerArbo.
  8. After scanning, you will see the name 'Dossier.nu' in the app. Tap it.
  9. You will now see the 6-digit code appear. This code changes every 30 seconds.

You have now successfully set up two-factor authentication (2FA)!
