# Delete customer user

Is a colleague who supervises absenteeism leaving the company? Then it is important to delete his or her account in ZekerArbo Online immediately. This prevents people who no longer work for you from retaining access to privacy-sensitive absenteeism data. We recommend regularly checking whether the list of users is still up to date.

**Step-by-step plan**

1. Log in to **ZekerArbo Online**.
2. Click in the menu on the left on **Customer users**.
3. Search for the user you want to delete and click on the name to open the profile.
4. Click the button **Edit**.
5. Then click the button **Delete** to erase the selected user account.
6. Click **OK** to permanently confirm the deletion. The action is now complete.

**Note**: Deleting a user is permanent. Does a new colleague need access? Then you must create a new account.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://service.zekerarbo.nl/hulp-werkgevers/hulp-voor-werkgevers-en/werkgevers/using-the-portal/delete-customer-user.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
