# Find absent employees and appointments

Do you want to quickly see which employees are absent and which appointments are already scheduled? You can arrange that directly in the Planning Calendar.

#### This is how you find absent employees and appointments:

1. Click the menu item **My files** to view your absent employees.
2. In the list, click the row **Absence trajectory** of the correct employee.
3. Go to **Appointments & Procedures**. Here you can see the employee's scheduled appointments and procedures.

#### Don't see any files as a supervisor:

Don't see any employees/files in **My files**? Then your authorizations may not yet be set up correctly.

A colleague within your organization with the employer role can adjust this. That person can link you to the correct employees, department, or the entire company.

Also read: [Assigning permissions to supervisor](/hulp-werkgevers/hulp-voor-werkgevers-en/werkgevers/use-portal/assign-authorizations-to-manager.md).

{% hint style="info" %}
Do you work as a supervisor in the portal? Then you will only see files once the correct authorization has been set.
{% endhint %}
