# 26-week forecast

Do you need a 26-week prognosis for the UWV? Then request it here. ZekerArbo will help you quickly.

### First, this:

In the case of a dismissal application due to long-term incapacity for work, the UWV asks for advice from the company doctor.

The company doctor assesses:

* whether the employee can recover within 26 weeks for their own work;
* whether their ability to work increases, decreases, or remains the same during that period.

This remains a prognosis. It is not a guarantee.

{% hint style="warning" %}
The UWV always makes its own assessment. This may differ from the company doctor’s opinion.
{% endhint %}

### This is how it works:

1. Discuss with your employee that you have submitted a dismissal application.
2. Explain that the UWV is requesting medical advice.
3. After that, we schedule a consultation with the company doctor.

We prefer to schedule the appointment with the employee’s own company doctor.

Is that not possible? Then we will engage another company doctor. The employee’s consent is required for this.

### During and after the consultation:

During the consultation, the company doctor discusses the employee’s health situation. After that, the doctor answers the questions for the UWV advice.

You will receive the advice within 5 working days. The employee will also receive it in writing.

### Costs in 2025:

* Consultation and 26-week prognosis advice: €309.45
* Additional preparation with another company doctor: €154.65
* No-show or cancellation within 48 hours: full cost

We invoice the advice separately.
