# Set up or change two-factor authentication (2FA)

To ensure the security of your data in ZekerArbo Online, the use of two-step verification is mandatory. Would you like to switch from SMS to the Authenticator app or vice versa? Then follow the steps below.

**Step-by-step plan**

2. **Log in** Log in with your email address and password.
3. **Verify identity** Your identity will be verified using the method you are currently using (this is the SMS code or the Microsoft Authenticator app).
4. **Choose new method** You can now configure the new method. You can choose from:
   * Microsoft Authenticator app (Recommended): Secure and fast via a notification or code in the app.
   * Phone: You will receive a code on your mobile phone.
