# Activate portal employees

#### Step-by-step plan

1. Open the email and copy or note the invitation code.
2. In the email, click the button 'Activate employee portal'.
3. Enter the invitation code and click 'Submit'.
4. Enter your date of birth and click 'Validate'.
5. Choose a new password, enter it twice and click 'Create'.
6. Your account has now been created. Log in immediately with your email address and new password.

#### Set up security (2FA)

You must now add extra security to your account (Two-factor authentication).

7. Scan the QR code shown on the screen with the Authenticator app on your phone.

8. Enter the 6-digit code that appears in the app and click 'Confirm Authenticator'.

Prefer to receive an SMS? Don't have an app at hand? Then click the link on the screen: *'click here to receive an SMS'*.

9. Finally enter the verification code (from the app or the SMS) and click Log in.
